The ASSOCIATION exists to:-

  • maintain the spirit of mutual friendship which existed among members of the Sultan's Armed Forces during their service in Muscat and Oman.
  • maintain contact with those in Oman with whom we served.

About Us

  • What we do:

The Association organises 2 reunions each year for members and their guests, in London - usually an Annual Dinner in late November, and a less formal Cocktail Party in June. for details and how to apply, see Events

The Association produces a Journal each year, to keep abreast of affairs in Oman and SAF in particular, which is sent to all members and to selected bodies in both UK and Oman.

  • Membership:

               In the spirit of  the founding principals of the Association, the following are eligible for full membership:

                    British and Commonwealth Officers and NCO's, Omani Officers.

                Officers of the Defence Department, Ministry of Defence and Engineers of Airwork Services Limited, who have served in SAF.

                Individuals, who have provided special assistance SAF or the Association, may at the discretion of the committee, be invited to become Honorary Members.
