Wessex Lunch Despite the notice in the Journal, thanks to the intervention of Nick Holbrook, the Wessex Lunch WILL take place on Sunday 26th July at the Camelot pub, South Cadbury in Somerset, which is half a mile south of the A303, five miles west of Wincanton. We will gather at 12 noon for a ‘Suckling Pig Roast’, salads, puds, coffee and even mints! Wines, beer and soft drinks will be included in the overall cost of £25 per head which will also cover the cost of the marquee etc. As usual, numbers will be limited to sixty and those wishing to attend are asked to inform John Quinn, preferably by letter to Wattle Cottage, The Green, Poulshot, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 1RT, with a cheque for the appropriate amount, payable to ‘The Wessex Lunch’.
