It is this passion that enables Lesley to start the creative process of making something unique and elegant from beautiful silk fabric.
Lesley trained at the London College of Fashion, graduating to work for top quality Companies including Alexon, Aquascutum, Planet, and Windsmoor. As a senior pattern cutter Lesley worked on the Bridal Range for Ronald Joyce.
Lesley then became workroom manager for Royal Wedding Dress designer Elizabeth Emanuel, ordering fabrics, pattern cutting, supervising machinists and hand finishers, taking measurements and fitting clients.
This experience was invaluable to Lesley, giving her a thorough knowledge of cut, proportion and balance. The expertise lays in her ability to tailor the shape to ensure a perfectly fitted dress.
Lesley, inspired to do the thing she loves most, now devotes time to her own fashion design and made-to-measure Bridal wear, after all Brides-to-Be are looking for something that really stands out.
