Bravo Two Zero
Every age and country has it heroes
The Gulf war gave us Bravo 2 Zero
Fighting men who came from the sky
But is the legend the reality or a lie
The winners write only their history
And that of the losers is a mystery
They envelop themselves with glory
As the losers seldom tell their story
In books and films there is a trend
The true facts to distort and bend
Author writes under an unlike name
Of failures on others lay the blame
Those on both sides who took a part
They did so with true and loyal heart
Not all of the defeated were sinners
Only time will tell of the true winners
