Computers
A computer was something on TV
From a Sci-Fi story of note.
A window was something to clean
And a ram was a randy mail goat.
Meg was the ex girlfriend’s name
But now it doesn’t mean the same.
A gig was a dance on Saturday night
More often than not ended in a fight
Application made for employment
TV programs made for enjoyment.
Curser, a person who used profanity
A keyboard now leads to insanity.
Memory was something lost with age
And we wrote things down on a page.
A CD was a cash deposit on a new car
After saving it in a pickled onion jar.
With a 3 1/2” floppy one said nought
And hoped the wife didn’t find out.
And if you went unzipped in public.
You would surly end up in the nick.
Log on was adding wood to the fire
There’s a mouse on the end of a wire.
Hard drive was a long day on the road
And even then you had to down load.
You cut with scissors or a sharp blade
Past was a name for glue home made.
A web caught fly’s coming into range
It’s only the fly’s that have changed
