Here I am with the White Rose Barbershop Singers, clowning around!
I was muscial director of the Leeds Barbershop Harmony Club from 1987 to 1992.
During this time we competed annually at the national conventions and we were
small chorus champions in 1988 and 1989.
I wrote a lot of their arrangements and this photo reminds me of the circus
routine that we performed, complete with human cannonball, jugglers, unicyclist
and general mayhem.

HRH Prince Phillip came to Morley to open Oakdale Bakery. I went along with the brass group from Newlands School, to herald his arrival with a fanfare.

In 1986 I became conductor of Leeds Male Voice Choir. In this picture, I'm conducting their 75th anniversary concert, which included a massed choir formed of the male voice choirs of West Yorkshire, together with the Sellars International Band. What a wall of sound!

With Mum and Dad at Mumtaz restaurant, Bradford.

Here I'm with John, G4RCG, having fun working the radio at the North Wakefield Radio Club shack. My amateur radio call sign is M0NJW.

Here I am, aged 2, in my Gran's front room playing my Granddad's Eb Bass.
This is Clancy, who sadly had to be put to rest in early 2007 after a series of strokes. He was a cat with a great personality and he will be missed by all the family.
