Local Beer Festivals

the local CAMRA branches organise several festivals during the forthcomming year at:

Bury St Edmunds- at the Corn Exchange in Bury St Edmunds
(23th to 26th April 2008)

Festival of Beer and Brewing - at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket
(3rd to 6th July 2008)

Ipswich Beer Festival at the Corn Exchange (King Street) in IPSWICH
(24th to 27th Sept 2008)

there are also various other CAMRA organised events
Many of these are easy to get to from the county and are held in various local towns:

Bedford (October) - Cambridge (late May) - Chelmsford (mid-July) - Clacton (late August) - Chappel & Wakes Colne (early Sept) - Colchester (late May / early June) - Harwich (early Dec) -
Norwich (late Oct) - Peterborough (late August) - Rochford (early Dec)

There are also many pub organised Beer Festivals in and close to Suffolk including:

Edwardstone White Horse - with Dark Beers and held over the May Day weekend

Hoxne Swan - May and August bank holidays

Stradbroke Queens Head - Jazz and Beer Festival in May

Lowestoft Triangle - June and December

Ipswich Dove - festivals in May, August + December

Bildeston Beer Festival - held at Kings Head during Whitsun weekend

Larling Angel - in early August
