Fred Smith and his family have been growing and selling Christmas Trees in the village of Boxted (just north of Colchester in the ancient county of ESSEX) for over 45 years. There is always a huge selection of trees planted on our expanded farmstead. This Christmas you can visit us to select your own Christmas tree - bring a spade and dig your own - or alternatively there is always a very large selection of ready dug and precut trees to choose from. 	Today 3 generations of the SMITH family are involved in this business - Fred's son, Tim and his grandson, George help outside - in all weathers - digging up trees and serving customers; whilst Fred, his wife, Maureen, daughter-in-law Beverley and granddaughter Penny work together create a wide range of holly wreaths - they can make these to order if you have any special requirements - contact them for more details.

Our Christmas trees are generally available of any height - between 1 metre (3 feet) to 10 metres (33 feet) - They are normally available from early November until early January each and every year. Larger sized trees can be delivered up to 50 miles away - smaller trees can be delivered locally - phone 01206 272346 more for details SEASONAL vegetables are also available at the farm shop - at certain times of year - check to see what is in season.
