Welcome to McNair Racing

McNair racing is a motor-sport team based in Ashford, Kent consisting of father and son, Dave and Lee McNair.  

Dave started his sprinting career in 2001. In this short time he has managed to win his class various times and in 2005, he won his first championship beating some of the fastest competitors in the south of England.

Before entering the world of competitive driving Dave spent 12 years being part of the highly successful team that ran the Cosworth Metro of Bill Richards.  

Lee started his motor-sport career in 2001 when he entered the world of sprinting. After completing three very successful years in that discipline Lee decided to take the plunge and move on to circuit racing.

In his first season Lee managed to win his class on numerous occasions and finished second in his championship. For 2005 Lee stepped up to the national level where he has been just as competitive.

Lee is employed by Bill Richards Racing and is the company’s main car builder which has made him responsible for producing some of the fastest and reliable Minis in the country
