Dorset Natural Law Party Return from Crisis Meeting in Croatia

Tom Dyball of the Natural Law Party in Dorset has just returned from an international conference of practitioners of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying programme in Croatia with a proven solution to the conflict in Kosovo. Now Tom is appealing for local support to make peace a reality.

Extensive published research has shown that regional conflicts can quickly be defused through the deployment of a "coherence-creating" group of experts in the peace-keeping technologies of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying programme. "The establishment of groups of 7,000 to10,000 Yogic Flyers in key places around the world and particularly in the Balkans would halt the violence in Kosovo, prevent the threatened expansion of the war, and create a genuine and lasting state of world peace", says Tom.

The Need for Coherence in Collective Consciousness

"NATO’s attempts to create peace by declaring war have proved futile. This is the only way. Far from helping to avert a humanitarian disaster, as NATO leaders claimed, resorting to military action only leads to further tension, hatred and misunderstanding - the very factors that have created the initial problem.

"Conflicts such as that in Kosovo arise only when collective consciousness is weak, turbulent, and disorderly. What happens is that the individual preferences of different communities appear incompatible and the people cannot live in peace with each other. A group of 10,000 Yogic Flyers in the Balkans would create a profound unifying influence in collective consciousness while supporting the diverse cultural values of the region, and bring stability to the whole of Europe."

Tom emphasises the cost-effectiveness of this approach: for the cost of a tail fin on the stealth fighter a group of 10,000 Yogic Flyers could be quickly established in the Balkans and the war could be stopped instantly.

Appeal to Fund Coherence Creating Group in Dubrovnik

"The conference that I attended in Croatia established a coherence-creating group in Dubrovnik, and this is expected to grow to 200 this week with financial support from people who practise Transcendental Meditation all over Europe. Much larger groups are needed to secure peace, however, so we are widening our fund-raising efforts. To have a significant effect on Yugoslavia alone a group of 1000 is needed, at a cost of 320,000 pounds a month. About 300 people from Croatia and the surrounding area who already practise Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying are ready to leave their jobs and join a coherence-creating group in the region, and it is feasible to bring the remaining 700 from other locations around the world. The crucial need now is for financial support."

Solution Offered to NATO

The conference supported the European Natural Law Parties in calling on NATO to establish a group of 10,000 Yogic Flyers in the Balkans. "Obviously it is the responsibility of governments to create these groups," says Tom." For example a group of 10,000 Yogic Flyers could easily be formed from the military and stationed in Macedonia. But we are not waiting for NATO to respond."
