A quiet and peaceful site set within the beautiful North Wales countryside. Ty Newydd is a small farm set within the village of Llangwm which is situated approx 1 mile off the A5, and approx 9 miles from Bala (a popular market town with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants to tempt you) and 17 miles from Betws y Coed (the honey pot for tourists to North Wales and Snowdonia!). The site is central to all the popular North Wales tourist attractions and is an ideal base for those wishing to explore Snowdonia, the coast or the border counties.

The site has a modern WC (ladies and gents) and shower room. There are also ample hook up points within the caravan field.


Local activities include leisure centre and pool (8 miles); Adventure Mountain - quad biking and go karting centre (1 mile) www.adventure-mountain.co.uk; golf (9 miles) fishing (4 miles); canoeing and rafting at the National White Water Centre near Bala (7 miles) www.ukrafting.co.uk; Ten-Pin bowling (10 miles); Tree Tops Adventure High Ropes course (17 miles) www.ttadventure.co.uk; Ewephoria Sheepdog Centre and bistro (1 mile) and National Trust properties such as Erddig, Chirk, Penrhyn Castle www.nationaltrust.org.uk.


On-site facilities include: 5 pitches (CL site) with 8 hook up points; Ladies and Gents WCs; Shower Room, Chemical disposal point, recycling facility. Pets are also allowed but visitors should remember that this is sheep country - so please keep your dogs under control!

The site fee is £8.50 per caravan per night which includes electric hook up and awnings. (Tents are charged separately.)

Caravan rallies are welcome by prior arrangement on a separate field.

Directions

Turn left off the A5 (Corwen - Betws-y-Coed) about 3 miles past Maerdy (just past The Country Cooks Ty Nant) at signpost Llangwm; in ¼ mile turn left (signed Llangwm); in ¾m on entrance to the village turn left (just before post box) over a stone bridge; immediately turn left. Site entrance in 75 yards on right
