"Woof" quoth he. Oh, and "Grrr" also.
I hardly need to add my own description of Geocaching, since anyone else that is into caching and has their own website has probably explained the ins and out better than I could. Check out some of my links for more info.
For any stats-fans that are reading this, a useful resource of Geocaching stats can be found among the pages of GC:UK
I will say, however, that it is important to be nice to The Countryside. There's
also a new organisation that has recently been created: the Geocaching
Association of Great Britain, also known as the GAGB. This was set up by a handful of people who care about Geocaching in a big way and want to get official recognition for Geocaching from appropriate land-management authorities such as Hampshire County Council, Forestry Commission and many more.
Seems to me this is a great idea and could be a very useful group to join. I already have joined, but you might want to consider it as well. Given all the beauracratic red-tape we're so fond of in this country it makes sense to have a designated committee who will be able to work with LMA's on your behalf...
Happy Caching!
More Geocaching type stuff to follow soon...
