All participants ‘centre’ in the North outside the circle and the following steps are completed:
First consecrate the water. Then take your athame or wand and channel power down it from your solar plexus chakra. Place the point of the atheme or wand in the water stirring it deosil three times and say some words of blessing: "I consecrate thee, O creature of Water, So mote it be."
Next place the point of your athame or wand on the salt stirring it deosil three times and allow more energy to flow down your wand into the salt. saying this blessing: : "I consecrate thee, O creature of salt, So mote it be."
Sprinkle some salt in the water saying: "May power thus be doubled and increased, as life joins life to create a greater force even than these."
First encircling
Now take your bowl of water around the edge of the circle, sprinkling the water on the ground to purify the ritual space saying as you go:
“I cleanse this Sacred space, So mote it be.”
Start at the East and walk Deosil or clockwise around the circle until you come back to the starting point. Deosil is the direction and East it's starting point of the Sun raised positive energy.
Place your bowl on the Altar and light your incense.
Second encircling
Next take your censer or incense sticks and carry again from North around the circle and back to North, saying as you go:
“I cleanse this Sacred space, So mote it be.”
The ritual space is cleansed, purified. Now the HP & HPS must create a boundary between the space and the outside world. The HP kneels facing East before the alter hands the sword to the HPS who is facing him standing. She takes the sword salutes the alter and goes to the North to start drawing the Circle. She draws energy into the base of her spine chakra to replenish herself. She then channels energy down into her hands and along the sword to the tip. Visualize a glowing light at the tip of the sword. She holds the sword at waist height, pointing it outwards horizontally. Visualize a glowing light and energy at the end of the sword. Now she walks deosil around the Circle drawing a line of light and energy in the air around the edge of the ritual space. When the Circle is complete the sword is placed in (on) the alter.
Third encircling
The words for casting the circle:
"I draw with sword the circle round, love be raised and power bound, So Mote it Be."
the Sacred Circle of power just needs protecting BY CALLING ON THE FOUR ELEMENTAL EGYPTIAN GODS as follows:
OOO Calling on the Quarters
As with all Rites, good visualization is needed, so we call upon each of the Four Elements, visualizing them along with their Elemental spirit protectors as follows starting with:
Qebhsennuf : (Pronounced ‘Kebsnoof’.) A Son of Horus, depicted with a falcon’s head. (May be regarded as god of elemental Air.)
AIR/EAST
FIRST
PARTICIPANT:
starting at the East
of the Circle facing outwards, points their atheme casting the invoking pentacle as they speak. Visualizing themselves in a high place, looking out into a clear blue sky, the wind blowing on their face, or even floating on that wind of the Element, and when ready they say:
"Hail and welcome,
Qebhsennuf of the East
,
Powers of Air.
I summon, stir and call ye,
To guard our Circle,
And witness this Rite."
Slight pause
(Pronounced ‘Dwa-moo-tef’ with emphasis on the second syllable). (May be regarded as god of elemental Fire).
FIRE/SOUTH
PARTICIPANT:
standing at the SOUTH
facing outwards, points their atheme, visualizing the blazing Sun, which grows stronger and larger until it fills all their vision (but only warm, it will not harm them), and when ready they say:
“Hail and welcome
Duamutef
of the South,
Powers of Fire.
I summon, stir and call ye,
To guard our Circle and witness this Rite.”
Slight pause
Imsety (Pronounced with emphasis on the second syllable). (May be regarded as god of elemental Water).
WATER/WEST
PARTICIPANT:
standing at the West
facing outwards, points their atheme, visualizing a blue-green sea, or the muddy river Nile splashing over them. Taste and smell the salt spray as it touches their lips. They feel the wetness of the Element, and when ready they say:
"Hail and welcome
Imsety
of the West,
Powers of water.
I summon, stir and call ye,
To guard our Circle and witness our Rite."
Slight pause,
( Hapi may be regarded as god of elemental Earth.)
EARTH/NORTH
PARTICIPANT:
standing at the North
facing outwards, points their atheme, visualizing a standing stone or pyramid in the desert. Feel the rough stone. Smell the damp Earth or dry sand. And when ready they say:
"Hail and welcome,
Hapi of the North
,
Powers of Earth.
I summon, stir and call ye,
To guard our Circle,
And witness this Rite."
Slight pause
You can now start your Rite’s within your Sacred protected Circle
Cakes and Wine:
This part of the Ritual is the normal ending to all Rituals
J
The wine is consecrated first by the HP & HPS as follows:
HP: Kneels in front of the alter (centre circle), and holds the chalice of red wine up with both hands.
HPS: Stands facing him and holds her atheme in both hands above the chalice. As the blade enters the wine the whole group say: “ As the atheme is to male, so is the cup to the female, and when conjoined become one in truth and bring about a great blessing. So Mote it Be.”
HPS:: Removes the atheme, kisses the blade, lays it on the alter. Then kneeling before the HP also puts both hands around the chalice. She drinks from it and kisses the HP who also drinks and returns her kiss.
HPS: Then drinks from the chalice again, and passes it CW around the circle with a kiss and the words “ Blessed Be”. This is done female to male Etc. if possible.
A small drop of wine should be drunk by ALL participants, some wine should also be left in the chalice for the HPS. It should never be given back to her empty for three reasons: 1). This symbolizes the completeness of the circle, which emanates from and returns to the Goddess. 2). As a mark of respect. 3). Because forfeits inevitably befall the person who empties the cup! The wine can then be topped up knowing it is still consecrated in part. The cakes / food is as consecrated next and handed out (as above). Also we must save some at the very end to pour and scatter back onto the Earth.
We must lastly thank all the Deities and protecting Elemental spirits by bidding them 'Hail and Farewell' as follows:
Opening the Circle when the Rite is over the circle is opened:
While the Quarters are closed the banishing pentagram for that Quarter is drawn, and the whole Coven visualizes the pentagram lines being drawn back into the blade of the atheme with you, starting with:
AIR/EAST
FIRST PARTICIPANT:

facing outwards, points their atheme casting the banishing pentacle as they speak.
See, feel and hear the presence of the protector Spirit Element of Air, and when ready say:

Powers of Air, we thank you for joining us.
And ask for your blessing as you depart,
Hail and Farewell!"
Slight pause
(All Loud):

FIRE/SOUTH

We thank you for joining us.
And ask for your blessing as you depart,

The Ending
Lastly the HP / HPS or who ever is in charge, goes to the centre of the Circle and raises their atheme (sword) to the Air and say's:
"The Circle is open, but unbroken may the peace of the Goddess go in our hearts as we depart".
The atheme is then touched to Earth.
Now at the very end we should pour and scatter some offerings back onto the Earth.
