It's always especially
pleasurable to open up a path that is totally blocked. Here we had
to cut a hole in the hedge first. In addition to putting in this
stile, we "recovered" an old stone stile from undergrowth
and put in several signposts. We also went to the pub in Binegar
for lunch !!

Now that
work in Westbury-sub-Mendip is complete we are working to open up
several paths in Beckington. As can be seen from the photos we had
to cut through hedges before installing stiles.

Compton

We had to open up
a path for Bob's route via Compton, where an old stile needed replacing!
We soon found ourselves working in water when we dug into a spring!
