Evil Bill's Trading list evil__bill@hotmail.com Last updated: 05/25/2003 (still not fully up-to-date) I would have twice the amount of shows i have now if i had kept the amount of flawed cdrs i recieved in trades when people claimed they knew how to burn and extract and when people claimed their shows were error free etc etc etc I am sick and tired of recieving coasters all of the time, it is one of the main reasons i forked out the cash to get a dsl modem so that i could shn trade. Read these rules and follow them otherwise do not even think of e-mailing me about a trade. Rules ============================================================================================================= 0. Read the faq (www.spfc.org/tradingfaq.txt), CDR burning bible (www.btinternet.com/~oulibaba/cdr_burning_bible.txt), download EAC (www.exactaudiocopy.de), go to www.ping.be/satcp and configure EAC. Get a good burning program such as Feurio! (www.etree.org) before you contact me about a trade. 1. I do not sell cdrs, i only trade them. 2. I will trade for anything but analogue casssettes(unless they are the best generation available). 3. I trade 1:1 for cdrs but i will trade 2-3 cdrs for a video depending on quality/gen etc. 4. Only use quality, name brand cdrs eg. TDK, Sony etc. No generics. Go to http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_quality.shtml to see what constitutes as a good cdr. 5. No mp3 sourced shows (i will check with a frequency analysis). 6. I will only trade with you if you have accurate source/gen info for your show and if you know the digital generation. I realise that in some communites people don't keep track of this information so there will be exceptions. 7. Let me know about any problems with the discs before we trade ie. skips, pop's etc. 8. Always burn DAO (Disc-At-Once) 9. Extract in secure mode with EAC (configured properly) and then burn at 2x unless you know your machine can handle faster speeds. 10. If i screw up i will replace/re-send flawed discs/lost mail etc etc. I expect you to do the same. 11. If you are copying a video for me use some kind off Extra High Quality tape. Record in Standard Play mode, fast forward and rewind the tape before recording and leave a 10 second gap at the start of tape (also leave a small gap between different shows). 12. I will nearly always do B+P's (For people in the UK) and 2:1's(for people in europe,usa etc). 13. I prefer to trade within UK/Europe because it is cheaper and quicker but i do international trades too. 14. Send the discs in a bubble padded mailer in sleeves (not paper or jewel cases!) 15. Write Date of show on a post-it and attach to the sleeve. Never write on the cdrs. 16. Always send first class/airmail so that the package arrives ASAP. 17. Do not rip me off...or else...
