Britain

[This section is in the early stages of development: 27 August 2000]

I have visited many parts of Britain, and lived in a few. Mostly, I know parts England. I have visited North Wales many times, and Scotland occasionally.

I tend to know towns and cities, which makes me a city person. Three small cities that I know very well are Durham (where I have lived since 1976), Chester (where I lived from 1965 to 1976) and York, which I used to visit several times each year. I also know central London quite well, central Newcastle passably well, and central Birmingham a little. The English city with which I have no familiarity is Norwich.
