Some Personal Achievements

It is easy to forget what we have done in our life. This exercise is intended to help you draw up exhaustive lists of your personal achievements. The exercise could take many months to complete. These prompts are to be understood in whatever ways are meaningful for you, and there is no value in attempting to be literal about what is written here.

1.      List the holidays away you have had.

2.      List the countries you have visited.

3.      List the towns and cities you have visited.

4.      List the civic events you have attended.

5.      List the cathedrals and places of religious observance you have visited.

6.      List the religious events you have attended.

7.      List the concerts, dance, theatre and television/radio productions in which you have participated.

8.      List the concerts, dance, theatre and television/radio productions you have attended.

9.      List the art galleries, museums and exhibitions you have attended.

10.  List the sporting events in which you have participated.

11.  List the sporting events you have attended.

12.  List the musical instruments you have played.

13.  List the artistic / craft objects you have created.

14.  List the collections you have created.

15.  List your best buys.

16.  List the plants you have grown.

17.  List the pets you have tended.

18.  List the people you have looked after.

19.  List your friends, past and present.

20.  List your certificates and qualifications.

21.  List your other achievements.
