Authentic Counselling Training
School Term and Holiday Dates 2005

North of Teesside, the north east of England
has seven education authorities, each setting school term and holiday dates seemingly
independently, sometimes apparently perversely. In order to determine the optimum
dates for the counselling training terms, I gather information about school term
and holiday dates from each local authority. Although each year in the past I
have done this by telephone, this year I have been able to compile a list of school
term and holiday dates from public documents on the respective local authority websites.
I am not aware of this compiled list existing
elsewhere. Therefore, I am placing it in the public domain for the first time. You
are welcome to make use of it.
Warning: whilst I believe
these dates to be accurate, I do not guarantee their accuracy, and take no
responsibility for how they are used. Further, individual schools may vary their
holidays by a day or two. Should you wish to arrange your own affairs by using
these dates, you would be well-advised first to
confirm them with the relevant local authorities and/or schools.
