Cinema & Movies: France

[Under development: 8 February 2005]

I have long been enthusiastic about much French cinema, and have watched many French movies, mostly subtitled. I fell so deeply in love with Amelie that, not only do I rewatch it two or three times a year, but I also toured many of the Montmartre film locations in Paris, which was a delight. I watch the Pagnol-based movies every year, and Eric Rohmer’s moral tales once every couple of years.

I cannot remember which of the films directed by François Truffaut that I have seen.
