England: Lake District

Despite living within 90 minutes' drive of England's Cumbrian Lake District, I have visited it only rarely. (Although further away from Durham, I am more familiar, partly as a result of pot-holing when I was a student, with the West Yorkshire Pennines, and with the Yorkshire Dales.) However, I look forward, one day, to climbing Scafell Pike and Great Gable.
