The Gardens & Terraces

The gardens and terraces are an outstanding feature of this remarkable property. The multiple terraces are constructed of high quality materials whilst the superbly landscaped gardens exhibit an incredible vista of bright colour and greenery.

There are three entrances. The main entrance has large electronically operated ornate wrought iron gates with ornamental gateposts with attractive lighting built in. They open onto a large hard-standing area for several vehicles area and a two car car-port beside the cottage. There are two further matching sets of gates giving access to other areas of the estate.

All the gardens are made up of an abundance of flowers, cacti, shrubs, bushes and trees which provide a bright and colourful environment to the estate. The well maintained lawns are a lush green and all areas are pleasantly edged with stonework or ornate retaining walls.

Top gardens: - There are substantial rockery based gardens at the top end of the estate with others around the entrance courtyard and cottage. Steps and pathways weave amongst the gardens.

Side Gardens: - To the right of the villa are more gardens areas leading down to the lower gardens, they have pampass grass, various cacti and plants. To the left of the villa are steps leading down to the lower terraces, they are also in abundance with flowers and plants.

These larger gardens continue the style of colour and beauty. Landscaped lawns give over to flower beds, rockeries and pathways. Much of the area is walled with balustrades and good use is made of crystal stone

Orchards: -There are approximately fifty various fruit trees, numerous melons, vines and vegetables set to one side of the lower gardens

All the land and orchard are irrigated by semi concealed pipeline which feeds water from a borehole and is which is controlled by a timer to take advantage of a lower tariff

Kitchen Terrace - accessed from the kitchen has a built in barbeque and sink area.

Bedroom Terrace - Gives onto the pool area, rockery area and poolside barbeque.

Two more terraces are set further into the lower gardens and provide panoramic views across the countryside

Ornamental Terrace - a rectangular terrace with balustrades and marble floor sitting above...

Pergola Terrace - a large rounded terrace with balustrades, marble floor and steps down to garden. A centerpiece is an ornate wrought iron pergola
