J.R.R. Tolkien - The Man Who Started It All

Tolkien's Foreward to "Lord of the Rings"

Christopher Tolkien's Foreword to "The Silmarillion"

On this page I have listed the titles of all the songs and poems in J.R.R.Tolkien's books 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings'. The songs and poems always form an integral part to Tolkien's work, and I didn't think a web-site such as mine would be complete without them. So, if you have ever found yourself in need of any of the lyrics then this is the place to be.

They are listed below by their first line in the order they appear in the books, with chapter numbers in brackets.
