  • Annie was in Walton Sanatorium Whitecotes Lane Chesterfield S40 3HW for a time before her death.  Also for a time at Penmore Hospital Chesterfield
    Her parents were living at 7 Grove Terrace Canal Side Ilkeston at thetime of birth.  Copy of birth certificate.
    Died at 1 Stamford Street Ilkeston and was interred in same grave as James and Mary Ann Beniston (father and mother in law) Ilkeston Park Cemetery 29 November 1928.

    Annie was witness to the marriage of Cyril Kenneth Murray & Florence Hutchby on 31 March 1917 at Holy Trinity Parish Church Cotmanhay Road Ilkeston.
    She was godmother to Dorothy Murray their elder daughter also to Betty Beeby daughter of Joe and Ada Beeby  (nee Hutchby).
    She was ill for some time before her death and her two children Arthur and Mary Clementine lived with relatives to avoid TB infection. Shewas regularly visited by sisters from the Community of St Laurence Field Lane Belper  who were attached  in the 1920/30s to Holy Trinity Church Ilkeston and lived in a house on the south side of Stamford Street.
    This Community was founded in 1874.  The Belper house  was closed andin 2001 the Community moved to a new convent in Southwell near to theSacrista Prebend Retreat House.
