Notes
- Samuel is mentioned in the Watch and Ward register for 1816. He was described as 28 years old, a Framework Knitter of Wool Alley, Wool PackLane. E-mail from Bryan Bailey 24 Nov 00 - There were only two Watch and Ward lists for Nottingham which were compiled in 1812 and 1816. These lists name the able-bodied men who were eligible to pay poor ratesand were liable to serve as 'special constables'. The Watch part served during daylight hours and the Ward part served during darkness.
