The Writing Equipment Society, established in 1980, is devoted to the conservation and study of writing instruments and accessories. Members` interests cover pens and pencils of all types, nibs, inkwells, stamp boxes, seals, writing slopes, letter scales and all similar associated items.
The Society has 600 members world-wide and publishes its magazine three times each year. Meetings are held on a regular basis on a wide variety of subjects relating to the society`s aims and objectives. The annual subscription is £13 per year for students, £32 per year for personal UK membership and £40/$65 per year for personal overseas membership.
