Janett Scott's Preston event is still a favourite and this
year was as good as ever. Highlights included one of the nicest lunches Pamela
can remember, en femme, at a very good brasserie in Blackpool, and the
normal delight of unexpectedly picking up a really nice pair of sandals from
Dolcis. (One of those occasions where you just pop in, and find a cheap
pair that turn out to be very comfortable and stylish and become a firm
favourite).
To
the right and below is a jumpsuit that is halter neck and actually based
on a glimpse of one CJCraig wore in one of the episodes of WestWing.

To the left is a
powder blue 'pedalpusher' trouser suit - a simple but effective outfit,
picked up for a song at a 'seconds store'.
