Rotherham

Again the Beaumont's annual gathering at Rotherham is a real opportunity to enjoy oneself. Good food (and on this occasion food almost beyond comparison, albeit at an external hostelry), great company and the opportunity to dress, a lot. The highlights are briefly:

A Nightingales woolen knitted dress, in of course Pamela's nominal colour. This is lovely to wear (and as it's a bit thick, you can wear almost any style of underwear you like underneath :-). This picture was taken a little after we'd had the most delightful lunch - the best venison I've ever eaten, in refined surroundings, with my partner and a good friend, and dressed as an elegant Pamela. Thanks indeed to you Lena for pointing out the venue!

The first night had, as before, a 'Ladies Day at the Races' theme (betting on videos of course!). So naturally a hat was de rigeur, and this time Pamela reused her 'bridal guest' outfit.

The pants and gipsy top came partly from an outfit glimpsed in, of all places, Barnstaple High Street, where a 'lady' of a certain age was wearing ski-pants with a very high belt. The lower half was reproduced, with a fanciful top!
