| Bollington is the Northern Concord annual bash, held in a hotel
with excellent food and a wonderful Gothic staircase, which acts as a magnet for TVs and
cameras. This event was every bit as good as previous ones (very much better really). This
time Pamela rewore her 'Goldfinger' outfit - everything gold lamé, including the handbag.
And a trip to M&S yielded a gorgeous oatmeal wraparound jersey dress and lovely slinky
black trousers in Tactel™. I took the opportunity again to wear Fergie's magnificent yellow dress. But the highlight was
a new teal halter-neck dress, plain to the floor, made with panache by Pamela's
(Fergie's?) dresmaker 'by appointment'. A lovely garment to wear, even if I need to be a
bit more careful about the bra at the dining table !
