The autumn and winter is a season TVs often look forward to, possibly because the evenings draw in and the cover of darkness beckons. For Pamela one of the attractions is a number of TV weekend events (London, Scarborough, Rotherham, Bournemouth, Bollington, Preston, Bournemouth (again), Devon and Ashton) at which she can relax, be herself, wear nice clothes, go out shopping and preen. This is an account of the Autumn and Winter Season 1997-8 which has magically stretched way into the Spring and what passes for a summer!!!

(The UK scene has grown considerably over the last few years to a point where there are about a dozen or more weekends one might attend over the autumn and winter - now we have to be choosy ! But we really must be thankful to those brave girls who have shouldered the pleasure of organising the weekends.)
