Northern Concord's summer party at Ashton-under-Lyne is a nice quiet affair set in a hotel with some lovely compact gardens. Driving up for this, Pamela was determined to dress in summer mode, despite the risk of inclement weather. Hence this outfit, with a lovely M&S draw-tie skirt. Surprisingly I got read by a 'fella' in Birmingham, who declaimed in a loud voice, though luckily when I walked on nothing came of it.

On reaching the hotel, I wanted to continue in summer vein, so I changed into these C&A capri pants which are gorgeously stretchy (though smoothly 'cotton' to the touch) and have that delicious frisson of a side zip! And they look equally lovely when view a la chaise longue! In fact they can be real leg-flatterers, especially if you have the right legs.

Finally, "What did you wear at the Dinner Pamela?" - well here I borrowed gorgeous silver jumpsuit which is heavenly to wear and decided that big hair and sliver eyes (including the eyelashes) were just what was required. And this is the image:
