| The Beaumont Society Rotherham weekend
was, as always Good Fun. Plenty of opportunity to dress over three days,
including excursions out to 'wander in the sun' or more likely the rain!
The weekend started with a supper with a 'Ladies Day' racing evening so
it was de rigeur to wear a hat. This is one Danielle let me try
later in the evening, which is a nice contrast to the diagonal pink
affair I'd worn earlier. (This in the one shown as the wedding
guest in an earlier outing in the sun.) |

| One of the joys of these weekends is the
opportunity to go out and about. Here are a couple of images the public
got to see. The first is pretty plain - trousers, boots, coat, after
we'd been to Halifax and looked around the Piece Market, which was
somewhat disappointing by comparison with my memory.
|

The second was wandering around Leeds - perhaps a bit
wrongly dressed in retrospect, with the leggings, though elegant, being
a bit too smart (black might have been OK) and the blonde wig a little
too striking (I'm becoming less convinced of a blonde for outdoors.) But
we enjoyed ourselves all the same. |
| But mainly it's about the evenings - and
the opportunity to put on the finery. here are two charming outfits I
wore, both created with flair by my partner. This is a straight gown
(with a little train) in a holographic silver lycra - simply delicious

(Sorry about the poor picture quality) |

This is a gorgeous catsuit/jumpsuit in green velvet
(what else!) with a seamless chiffon top. Just divine to wear and the
dinky little handbag goes beautifully. |
Finally, if you've got a chaise longue
then you should have an outfit to suit it, shouldn't you?
