We welcome your input!

A picture is worth 1,000 words!

Do you have an interesting, unusual or amusing photo, with a story attached, from your travels? Send it in, with a brief caption / explanation of the story behind it.

Or send us the 1,000 words (or more!)

One of the joys of our quarterly newsletter, VISA, is the chance to travel the world every issue, thanks to all members who contribute. What memorable places have you visited (in the UK or elsewhere)? What did you like? What did you dislike? What differences did you find between home and your place of travel? And what similarities? What is the most unusual method of travel you have ever used? Or the most memorable person you have ever met on your travels? Did you meet your partner through a holiday romance?

Members really appreciate the feedback and views of other members, so get writing - and do send some photos to illustrate the article, if you have them. Don't worry about writing too little, or too much (we can always edit the letter or article, or print it in two instalments, if it's extra long). If you visited several places, a copy of a map showing the relevant landmarks would be even better!

What's eating you?

Do you have a travel hobby horse? What are your views on booking travel via the Internet? Or on the impact of tourism on the environment? Have you used new travel methods, such as Eurostar or one of the new cheap and cheerful airlines? Were they any good? Do you work in the travel industry - we would love to hear a view from the other side of the counter. Or add your voice to our 'Globetrotters' feature - how many countries have you visited? And what constitutes a country, anyway?

Write in and you never know - you could be starting a big debate!

Website words of wisdom?

What do you think of this website? (constructive comments, please!) Is there anything you would like to see added to the site? Have you visited other travel-related websites? What did you think? Let us know.

About to go on your travels?

Don't forget to send us a postcard!

An English(person) abroad?

Our membership is spread around the world. If you're an expatriate Briton, tell us about your adopted country. Or, if you hail from elsewhere and live in the UK, tell us how you got here and what you are doing!

Here's how you get into print or onto the website:
