My CV/Resume                     Hometown in Provence
Check it out.                          A gorgeous village to visit

A Little Story
In summer 1994, I discovered the Internet and the Web. It was a revelation. I was at a time visiting a friend in Washington who was doing an internship in a local university and had been a web evangelist for a while.

Already there was a lot of websites on the internet. They were run and maintained by a small number of dedicated individuals, academics and scientists spread across the globe. There was even a few sites where you could even order pizzas and CDs (the dawn of e-commerce). Mosaic was the best graphical browser around and finally made the internet accessible to masses. At that time corporate still thought that websites were only for nerds.

A few years later, the commercial world has taken over the internet. Each respectable Corporate has implemented its e-business strategy, Microsoft Internet Explorer is on virtually every PC in the world and Old Telecommunications companies like to call themselves IP companies (Internet Protocol).

Since I finished university I have been working in the Telecoms industry, so I got more and more involved with the internet. Thank god! I have now 'web' and 'on-line' all over my job description ;-)
