This is my record of 2nd and 3rd level complaints directly to the council, replies and working days taken.

Brent Council  says "normally" a full written reply to a complaint will be sent...

Stage 1 - to Manager of Service - 15 working days
Stage 2 - to Complaints Officer of Service - 20 working days
Stage 3 - to Chief Executive - 30 working days

1st Stage 2 sent 3.4.03,  reply sent 6.5.03.

1st Stage 3 sent  9.5.03,  reply sent 11.8.03

2nd Stage 2 sent 8.9.03. After prompting a reply was sent 29.10.04, the officer claiming "It is my understanding that the complaint has been resolved to your satisfaction." It had not and this reply provoked a further complaint. My attempt to have this and the outstanding matters dealt with by the Chief Executive was not allowed. On 4.11.04 the original matters and the mishandling of my complaint were accepted as a stage two complaint. A reply to both was sent 27.11.01.

2nd Stage 3 Complaint sent 30.11.03, reply sent 26.2.04. On 8.3.04 I asked for clarification about several parts of the Chief Executive's letter. He replied to this on 4.5.04. 

3rd Stage 2 Complaint sent 8.3.04 and added to 17.3.04.  Reply received 4.5.04. 

3rd Stage 3 complaint sent 21.6.04. Reply received 20.8.04
