> Paul, as lead artist of Daedalus Theatre Company, received funding for a revival of the installation based performance Selfish, which he directed and designed. The revivial took place at Camden People's Theatre in October alongside a programme of research and development work for new shows, including an exciting new project focusing on Burundi, which moves into a second R&D stage this July supported by CPT. Paul received Arts Council funding to rework and then restage Daedalus's Selfish, the devised, multimedia work he was commissioned to make by The Arches, Glasgow. Alongside the performances, work in progress workshops are taking place on Out of Nothing and a new project on Burundi.

> > Scale Project's New Town/Suitcase City projects, part of the series of collaborations run by Simon Daw and Paul Burgess, formed part of the exhibition 2D - 3D: Design for Theatre and Performance, organised by the Society of British Theatre Designers, at the Millennium Galleries, Sheffield, The Prague Quadrennial '03 and the Theatre Museum, Covent Garden. The fully illustrated exhibition catalogue is available from the SBTD office and theatre bookshops, including the RNT bookshop. New work is in the early stages of development.

NEWS: Scale Project recently collaborated with Julia Lee Barclay (Apocryphal Theatre) on a Future Worlds: Tricon Innit at the Lorem Ispum Gallery, Vyner Street. It was also shown at a Jumble It Up night at MadCap, Milton Keynes and an Exploding Cinema night at The Half Moon, Herne Hill. More dates to come...
