Youth CREATE is an inclusive, performing arts based charity for young people, based in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Its artistic director is Carol Russell. There is more information on its website which can be accessed from the links page. Below are photos from recent productions by Youth CREATE on which Paul worked.

Picture the World (above) was a journey through the music, dance and stories of several different countries, performed by the Intermediate age group (10-13) at Harlow Playhouse Studio Theatre.

Romeo and Juliet (above) was performed by the Seniors (14+) with a double cast. As well as playing at the Harlow Playhouse (pictured) it was shown at Trestle Arts Base, St Albans, the National Association of Youth Theatre's international festival and finally in Hawaii, as part of an exchange with the Island School on the island of Kauai.

Digging Up the Past was a performance in Great St Mary's Church, Sawbridgeworth, that told the story of the town from the coming of Christianity to the present day. It involved members of the community as well as of Youth CREATE and combined music, narration, drama, dance and projections. It was written and directed by Youth CREATE'S Artistic Director, Carol Russell, and Lighting Design was by Richard Wood.
