Organiser's Comments
The weather was kind for the first Saturday event of the new season, and despite
threatening, the rain held off until we collected the controls in! It was good to see some
new faces, from both Senior and Junior ranks, and although the turnout was relatively
low, everyone seemed to enjoy the format and the chance for an easy run. It was good
to be able to use the new "wooded" area on the West of the map, and I look forward
with interest to the way in which it develops over the years.
I'm pleased to say that we lost no controls at all, and with Bob turning up at the end
to take all the kit off us, it was a stress-free event!
Thanks as always to Helen and Matt for putting out and collecting controls with me, and
for being around generally to make sure everything runs to plan!
