Droobers WIN Yvette Baker Trophy!
On Sunday at Cannock Chase our juniors beat 14 other clubs (and that was only in the final) to win the Yvette Baker Trophy. It was a great team effort by nearly 40 youngsters from club, school and university. Special mention must be made of our two winners Dan Halliday (flying in from Edinburgh) and William Gardner but everyone else had a part to play. They either were amongst the 9 counters (Emma Banbrook, Harriet Batten, Jess Halliday, Caroline Northall, Harold Wyber, Matthew Halliday and Matthew Elkington) or stopped other clubs scoring too many points. We won by 10 points from NOC with AIRE a further 1 point behind.
