Department Dilemmas

The students, in turn, take the role of a department store owner who is trying to offer persuasive reasons to purchase different items. The adjective and noun should both have the same initial letter.

Pet Department.

An active aardvark

A beautiful budgerigar

A cheerful chinchilla

 

Grocery Department.

An adorable avocado

A bent banana

 

This activity can be extended to include the garrulous restaurateur who will offer his 'perfectly palatable pink pasta' or the chef of Count Dracula who invites you to eat 'slimy slippery sausages.'
