Games for Verb Practice (1)

A was an apple

The players have to supply verbs beginning with each letter of the alphabet in turn.

A accepts the apple.

B bites the apple.

C cuts the apple.

D digests the apple.

Each player should show the appropriate grammime for each word in the sentence.

(noun) (verb) (article) (noun).

This activity can then be extended to practice the signs for the past and future tenses.

A accepted the apple.

B bit the apple.

C cut the apple.

 

A will accept the apple.

B will bite the apple.

C will cut the apple.

A, of course, could arrange, ascend, absorb or even ask the apple. It is a strange world!
