Edwin John Harper

   Cause of his death was Cardio repiratory failure, Bronclo pneumonia, Chronic obsructive airways,Bleeding Gastric ulsa resulting in abdominal wound.

  Noted events in his life were:

• Military Service, 1914-1918, France. Fought in the 1st World War. (Service No unknown) Originally in the Manchester Regiment but after being wounded he transferred to the medical corps. After the great war he was a regular solder and was sent to Ireland where he married before returning to England.

Edwin married Mary Josephine Murray, daughter of Joseph Murray and Mary Byrne, on 17 Sep 1921 in Our Immaculate Lady Of Refuge Dublin, Ireland. (Mary Josephine Murray was born on 17 May 1893 in 2 Hatters Lane Dublin Ireland and died on 14 May 1982 in Sheffield.) The cause of her death was Senile Cardio Vascular Degeneration.

• Residence, 1922, Dublin. On 17/9/1922 Edwin and Mary were living at 1 Hatters Lane (Next door tto where Mary was born !)
