Caledonia University Directions
Due to the sheer size of the Sensei Kase seminars, we hold them in a more central venue. This page explains how to find that building. This page has been designed such that one can print it out and use it as a guide to finding the dojo. Nearby hotels are listed on this page.
We have directions available for:

General
Many automatic web and PC applications can generate maps and directions based on the postcodes of the start and end points. Multimap and Yell both provide this service online. Every effort has been taken to list the addresses of likely starting points such as railway stations, airports etc.

Arriving By Car
Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and will be signposted on all motorways leading to it.
Once you arrive within Glasgow, follow signs for the City Centre and for Buchanan Bus Station.
Arriving By Air
If you arrive by plane, it's advisable to take public transport into Glasgow City Centre and make your way to Buchanan Bus Station. From there, the dojo is only a short walk.
Glasgow Airport
From Glasgow Airport, catch one of the frequent shuttle buses from outside the departure hall to Buchanan Bus Station. It should cost about £3 each way. Then follow the directions given in the Arriving By Bus section. Taxis into Glasgow will cost about £15 (at the time of writing) from the taxi rank outside the departure hall.
Edinburgh Airport
From Edinburgh Airport, catch a shuttle bus into Edinburgh City Centre. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes and terminates at Waverley Bridge, near to the main railway station and bus station and is just off the city's main street, Princes Street. Tickets cost about £3.50 each way and can be bought on the bus itself.
You can then catch a train from Waverly Train Station into Glasgow Queen Street and then walk to the dojo. Trains to Glasgow are normally 45 mins long and run at 15 minute intervals. Depending on the time of travel tickets are around £10. Once you arrive at Queen Street Train Station, follow the directions in the section Getting to the Dojo from Queen Street Train Station.
Alternatively you can catch a bus from Waverly Bridge bus station direct to Buchanan Bus Station. Journey's take about an hour but are substantially cheaper. Then follow the directions in the section Arriving By Bus.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport
Catch the train from the Prestwick International Airport station direct to Glasgow Central Station. To reach this station, do not exit the building into the carpark - follow the signs up the escalator to the covered walkway to the station. If you fly with a Ryanair flight, keep the ticket-stubs - you will be entitled to a 50% discount on the journey to and from Glasgow Central Station. At the time of writing this is £2.50 each way (£5 to non-Ryanair passengers).
Arriving By Train
The dojo is within easy walking distance of both the main stations in Glasgow.
Trains from the North of Glasgow generally terminate at Glasgow Queen Street Station, those from the South complete their journey at Glasgow Central Station.
Consider the streetmap. Don't worry, the distances are not great - the length of the directions given below are due to the number of landmarks put in to orientate around.
