Parish Mission
Our Parish Mission is to work together to:
- encourage and nurture the young people to our parish
- cherish the elderly, who are treasures of the parish, offering us the wisdom of their experiences
LIVING STONES IN OUR PARISH COMMUNITY
We are called to be "Living Stones" building the Temple of Our Lord by taking an active part in the life of the parish community .
- We are most anxious to help anyone who cannot celebrate Mass with us because of illness or age. If you wish to receive the Sacraments, or if you have a relative who is sick or housebound and who wishes to receive the sacraments, or wants a visit from the Priest, please contact Tony Nicholls or The Presbytery. Please notify Fr Dominic of any hospitalisation.
- If you are new to the parish, or if you are an occasional visitor, you are very welcome. Please introduce yourself to Fr Dominic.
- Our Coffee Club meets on Tuesdays at 2.30 pm. Please come along for a social chat.
- Young people are very welcome to attend our Youth Club on the first Friday of each month at 6.30 pm.
- The Parish Forum, chaired by Wyn Nicholls, meets twice a year. All Parishioners are welcome to come along and express their views and share their ideas for building up our parish community.
- Catholic newspapers and publications are available in the Church Hall.
- Local, Diocesan and national events and items of interest are advertised on the notice boards.
- Parish Retreats and Pilgrimages, local, national and international are organised regularly during the year. Parishioners and friends and relatives are encouraged to participate.
St Christopher’s, Codsall is an active, dynamic parish and there are many ways in which you could join in the life and work of the parish community.
