"SAMMY'S SUPER T-SHIRT" PRESS NOTES (continued) RICHARD VERNON - "MR BECKET"
Richard Vernon is one of Britain's most distinguished leading character
actors. He first appeared in London as Mr. Darling in PETER PAN, and he has
starred in a great many highly successful TV plays and long-running series,
including THE MEN IN ROOM 17, THE DUCHESS OF DUKE STREET, as Lord Salisbury
in EDWARD VII and Yorkshire's award winning play SARAH. He took over Sir
Laurence Olivier's' role in SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY when this play
transferred from the National to the Queen's Theatre. Incidentally, his
ancestor Admiral Vernon was the originator of the Grog Ration for the Navy.
JULIAN HOLLOWAY - "MR TROTTER"
Since making his debut in West End revue in 1963, Julian Holloway's
acting career has covered an immense range; from WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE YOUR
MOTHER at the Royal Court to CHARLEY'S AUNT at Stratford upon Avon. He
recently starred in the revival of ARSENIC AND OLD LACE. In TV he has played
leading roles in such series as THE LIKELY LADS, THE SWEENEY, HELEN, WOMAN
OF TODAY: ELIZABETH R, P.G. Woodhouse's UKRIDGE and THE NEW AVENGERS. Also
numerous TV plays including THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and THE SNOW
QUEEN. He has appeared in more than 25 films including seven CARRY ONS.

REGINALD WINCH - "SAMMY"
Reggie is 13 years old, and started in the film business at the age of
4. His first film was POOR COW with Carole White (a former CFF child star).
He has since appeared in several C.F.F. films including "THE MAN FROM
NOWHERE", "CHIMP MATES" and now "SAMMY'S SUPER T-SHIRT". He has appeared on
London Weekend TV in THE INSOMNIAC, DESIGN TO KILL and HOLDING ON. He has
appeared in numerous commercials, including such products as TOFFO, KRAFT
DAIRYLEE, KODAK and HEINZ BEANS. His interests apart from acting are
football and swimming. He is a Patrol Leader in his local Scout Group, and
his brother and sisters have also appeared in films and on television.
LAWRIE MARK - "MARVIN"
Lawrie Mark is 14 years old and has been studying at the Barbara Speake
Stage School since he was eleven. He has appeared in numerous TV
commercials, small parts in TV plays, and in the HEADMASTER series. He is
best known for his role as BENJAMIN in the highly popular FOSTERS comedy
series on TV. Lawrie's favourite hobbies include dancing, riding and
football.
