Little Perry

This scene is primarily about the life of Nancy's daughter Perry who has been going through similar (parallel) experiences to her mother. In this part of the scene, Perry is now a bridesmaid at her parents ' wedding and is dancing round and around carrying her bouquet of flowers. Her father (Nancy's Lover/The Bridegroom) sings to her "...won't you dance with me, little Perry? " This scene also contains yet another brief 'flashback' to a time when Nancy was a little girl and moves us quickly towards the present day when all her past wounds have been healed and she can now dance with her Lover (like two butterflies) in the sunshine on their wedding day. Both the scene and the song are therefore about re-uniting this family and then the healing, the restoration and the joy that follows...
