Freedom Once Again
This scene now turns our attention to the subject of what true freedom really is. The song indicates that true freedom can come only when we are able to surrender our own interests and agendas and selflessly 'lay our lives down' for our friends. Strangely enough, then and only then can true freedom be 'tasted' and experienced and only then can we become the people we are meant to be.
