
We're Together
'Togetherness ' is an under-rated concept in this world where 'individuality ' so often takes precedence over 'family ' and 'community ' (The opposite of 'togetherness ' is 'loneliness '). In this scene, Nancy and her Lover are now about to embark on a journey. They are moving out of their crowded tenement apartment in down-town New York and are now moving to a new home further towards the outskirts of the City away from the husstle and bustle of inner city life in which they and their children have been a part of for all of their lives. The act of leaving their home and familiar surroundings to find "a better place" is indeed a very big step for the whole family. However, they believe that as long as they are 'together ' they will be able to face the challenges that may come their way in the future...
