Qual: RYA Safety Boat Certificate

The aim of this new course is to introduce the techniques used in powerboats escorting fleets of dinghies, windsurfers and canoes, providing safety cover for training fleets, and assisting in race management. Candidates must have an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate to be eligible for this course. (It is also strongly advised that members of any rescue crew should hold a first aid certificate and VHF Operators Certificate, both of which are available at this centre.)
