*Successive Councils' incompetence in The Triangle

Jackie and I ran this modern Coffee Shop in The Triangle, Bournemouth. It was bright and clean and we aimed to serve the best drinks and finest quick food in Town. The Triangle may be the run -down part of town but that did not stop us delivering quality.

The Triangle is still in a sorry state and has been for the last 20 years. Council plans have come and gone almost as much as our wonderful regulars, who continually found us despite the outlook.We wouldn't have been there without you!

Despite the rapidly worsening state of The Triangle our Landlord has forced a doubling of our rent in the last year. This has made this sound business unviable.

After six years of blood sweat and lots of tears we have finally had to concede defeat.

They have taken half of our house so we have had to try and protect what's left.

Here's How The Triangle stands after nearly six years of our being here and three Councils in power.

More than 80% of The Triangle is commercially empty!

Rubble left for months in the centre.

And they are still cutting the grass!

We havn't seen a counsellor for over 5 years.

Nearly all the busses have decided not to stop in The Triangle (can you blame them?)

£20 million spent on the BIC with a £5 million overspend.

With funding £1 million would have transformed The Triangle into a wonderful square with Urban living. We could have played a central part in that.

Good luck to all of who are left. With greedy Landlords and a Council who doesn't give a **** we feel you are going to need it!
