| We have a Coffee Shop (
BALLARD'S ) in The Triangle and having been here
for nearly six years. We know that The Triangle
could become a much better place if the once
planned Triangle pedestrianisation had been
completed. At the moment the middle of The
Triangle is just a big mess, the area is run
down, there are many empty shops and there is no
place to act as a focal point for the area. This
is in stark contrast to the rich diversity of
people, many of whom visit us regularly, that
live, work in, and visit The Triangle.
If The Triangle was made into a nice little
square then for businesses there would only be a
win, win situation. It is as vital to our long
term survival (those few of us left) and we
believe that, having talked to many other local
business owners, it is as vital to all the
businesses, inhabitants, workers in and visitors
to The Triangle area.
One aim of our Website is to give as much
information about the current state of affairs as
possible.
Sadly The Triangle is still Bournemouth's
embarrassing sore. Daily we see the look on
peoples faces as they get off one of the few
buses that continue to stop there. "So this
is Bournemouth?".
How much worse does it have to get before
someone with imagination gets hold of the place.
The whole Triangle could have been transformed
for one fifth of the overspend
on the BIC upgrade.
